Introducción a la apnea
“For those who have never done any underwater activity before and would like to experience freediving, we highly recommend the “discover freediving” option.”
The “Discover freediving” is the right course for those who are curious enough to approach freediving, and yet have not been determined to do a full course. During this course you will discover the wonderful underwater world and its charms from the purest form of diving.
Course content:
– Theory session: physiology, respiration, and security systems.
– Breathing and relaxation for freediving.
– Open water session: where students will practice everything learned in class.
For this course, the only thing you need to know is how to swim, so you just have to sign up and enjoy!
Duration: 1 morning (about 4-5 hours)
Requirements:
– Be at least 18 years (or 16 with parental consent).
– Know how to swim.
Includes: freediving equipment, boat transfer, insurance during the course and diploma of attendance.

freediving course level 1
“the basics of freediving”
This is the basic course where you will learn the proper breathing techniques for freediving. During this course you will learn all necessary techniques and adequate knowledge to freedive in depths up to 20 meters comfortably.
Course content:
– Theory: physiology, physics, breathing techniques, pressure & equalization, disciplines, safety and rescue.
– Practical workshop: breathing and relaxation techniques.
– Pool: static and dynamic disciplines.
– Sea: breathing, visualization, duck dive, equalization, finning techniques, proper weighting, buddy system, safety and rescue.
At the end of the course students will be able to hold their breath for at least 2 minutes, swim 40 meters underwater and dive between 10 to 20 meters comfortably.
Duración del curso: 2 a 3 días (12-14 horas aproximadamente)
Requirements:– Be at least 18 years (or 16 with parental consent).
– Know how to swim more than 200m

” The advanced course for improving your freediving skills”
This course will provide students with a better understanding of the natural adaptations for freediving: mammalian diving reflex and how to trigger it. You will learn the proper equalization technique for freediving and training methods. After the course students will be able to dive between 20 and 30 meters comfortably.
Course content:
– Theory: for better understanding of the physiological changes that occur inside our body under a high pressure environment, and how to use these changes in order to improve our freediving performances.
– Stretching workshop: mainly thoracic area
– Pool: improvement of static and dynamic disciplines.
– Sea: improvement of Frenzel equalization technique. Free-fall: manage relaxation and energy savings to increase dive time and achieve greater depth.
After the course students will be able to hold their breath for at least 2 minutes and 30 seconds, swim 50 meters underwater and make comfortable dives between 20 and 30 meters deep.
Duración del curso: 3 a 4 días (18-20 horas aproximadamente).

– Know how to swim more than 400m.
– Have passed previous level.
– Have a valid diving insurance.

“From beginner to advance in five days!”
Includes same theory, workshops, open water and pool sessions as for both level 1 and level 2.
After the course students will be able to hold their breath for at least 2 minutes and 30 seconds, swim 50 meters underwater and make comfortable dives between 20 and 30 meters deep.

Curso de apnea nivel 3
La cumbre del programa de Apnea. El objetivo de este curso es trabajar entre los 30 y 40 metros de profundidad, donde el “volumen residual” pulmonar es, por lo general, una limitación para tus inmersiones.
Course content:
- – Teoría: la compensación de profundidad utilizando la técnica de «mouth-fill», inconvenientes y limitaciones ocasionados por la presión y las medidas pulmonares. Profundidad de fallida y “carpas”. Aprenderás a bucear en exhalación pasiva (riesgos y beneficios), la enfermedad descompresiva y la narcosis de profundidad.
- – Piscina: calentamientos, tablas de entrenamiento para máximas en dinámica y estática.
- – Mar: practicarás la compensación de profundidad “mouth-fill”, bucear en volumen residual (FRC) para adaptar el cuerpo a la profundidad y a la presión. Llevar a cabo procedimientos de seguridad y rescate en profundidad.
Al final del curso el alumno será capaz de mantener la respiración durante al menos 3:30 minutos, recorrer 75 metros en apnea dinámica y de descender entre 30 y 40 metros cómodamente.
- Duración del curso: 4 días (23-25 horas aproximadamente).
- Requirements:
- – Haber completado los requisitos del nivel previo.
- – Be at least 18 years (or 16 with parental consent).
- – Know how to swim more than 400m.
- – Tener registrado al menos 25 sesiones de apnea.
- – Disponer de certificación de un curso de Primeros Auxilios (que incluya RCP) con vigencia inferior a dos años.
- – Certificado médico con antigüedad inferior a dos años donde se indique que «no se tienen contraindicaciones médicas para la apnea».
- – Have a valid diving insurance.
- Incluye: Manual digital, equipo de apnea, seguro durante el curso y diploma de asistencia. Se certificará al final del curso una vez superado los requisitos mínimos.
